                        ROASTED BABY POTATOES 

Easy recipe and perfect side dish.

Baby potatoes
Black pepper
Ground garlic
Coriander to garnish
Olive oil


1. Preheat the oven to  400°F(200°C)
2. Scrub the potatoes and place in boiling water for 10-15 minutes, leaving their skin on.
3. Now toss them in olive oil, sprinkle black pepper, salt, garlic, paprika.
4. Take a greased baking sheet and spread potatoes on it.
5. place them in preheated oven. Bake for 40-50 minutes until they are golden and crispy outside.
6. Garnish with coriander or rosemary.

                              TILAPIA FISH FRY

      Tilapia are mainly freshwater fish inhabiting shallow streams, ponds, rivers and lakes and less commonly found living in brackish water.

     Tilapia have very low levels of mercury, as they are fast-growing, lean and short-lived, with a primarily vegetarian diet, so do not accumulate mercury found in prey.



Tilapia fish      -       250 grams/ 4 large pieces
Turmeric powder      -  1 TBSP
Chilli powder      -         1 TBSP
Garam masala      -       1 TBSP
Salt      -                         ½  TBSP
Ginger garlic paste    -  1 TBSP
Pepper      -                    ½ TBSP  
Lemon      -                     1  Large
                              Olive oil  

1. Take a bowl. Mix chilli powder, salt, pepper, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, turmeric with oil and make fine paste.
2. Marinate the fish and squeeze lime juice on fillets.
3. Freeze them for atleast 1 hour.

-Preheat the oven to 375'F and bake the fish for 30-40 minutes.
-Fish can be shallow fried on frying pan too.
-Cut fish into  medium size pieces and place them on heated pan and cover the pan with a lid so that steam helps the fish to cook properly.
-Let them fry for 10-15 minutes.

Like many types of fish, tilapia has a very high content of selenium

         Watermelon juice is one of the thirst quenching summer drinks. Fresh Watermelon smoothie is perfect for hot summer day. Preparation time for this yummiee smoothie is less than 5 minutes.


Watermelon pieces
Vanilla ice cream- 1 cup
Bournvita-  1 spoon (Optional)


  1.  Add watermelon pieces into a mixer/blender and juice them.
  2. Add vanilla ice cream and blend again till you get creamy pink color.
3.  Smoothie is almost ready. Add 1 spoon of bourvita in this if you want chocolate flavor along with vanilla.

This smoothie has got amazing taste 

and smell.

               Jaggery and Pepper drink (Panakam)

   How many of you celebrated  ‘Ram navami’ ??  Then you must have tasted this medicinal drink at least once in your lifetime. It's good to drink in summer season also. 
    Let me tell you why you should prefer this drink.


  • Jaggery is prepared from sugarcane juice. 
  • Used as a sweetening agent in many dishes. 
  • It is rich in minerals potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, selenium, calcium and phosphorus and antioxidants. 
  • My grandmother always suggests me to eat jaggery with peanuts or dry coconut because iron in jaggery helps to build hemoglobin in blood.


  • Black pepper also contains good amount of minerals like potassium, calcium, zinc, manganese, iron, and magnesium. 
  • Good source of Vitamin- C and Vitamin- A and antioxidants.


  • Black pepper – 3 to 4 TSP
  • Jaggery- 4 to 5 TSP
  • Honey- 1 TSP
  • Water
  • Cardamom powder- 1tsp


 I so so love this drink. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 


  • Place jaggery in water and mix it till dissolved.
  • Add pepper powder and cardamom to this.
  • Now add honey and stir it well.
  • Take 1 teaspoon and taste the drink. You can change the quantity as per your taste and desire.

Procedure 2:

  • Take grated Ginger and lemon juice.
  • Try to take juice out of ginger and add this two extra ingredients to your already prepared juice.


I always prefer to spice it up than having plain juice.
I have added mint leaves also with water melon. Mint leaves
helps to supplement your diet and pepper, ginger are good for digestion.
This is a detox juice and best drink to beat your summer….

Watermelon   -----  1/2
Mint leaves   ----- hand full
Pepper         ----- 8-14 
Ginger         ----- small piece
Sugar          ----- Optional
Lemon         ----- 1

Preparation time: 10-15 minutes


1.   In a mixer add all the ingredients except lemon juice
2.  Blend well. Blend well. Blend well.
3. Make sure Ginger and pepper are blended well
4.  Pour melon juice in a tall glass and  squeeze half a lemon per one glass.
5.  Garnish water melon juice with mint leaves and a sliced lemon.

     You can't believe this juice has all tastes. In love with this recipe.
